Pro Subscription Terms

The Pro subscription is an optional paid upgrade that unlocks additional features on mypkmn.cards ("we", "our", or "us"). These Terms apply specifically to Pro and should be read alongside our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

By subscribing to Pro, you agree to these Terms.

1. What Pro includes

Pro unlocks additional features and higher limits designed to help you get more out of your collection. Examples include:

  • Uploading photos of your own cards
  • Increased limits on notes, lists, and graded cards
  • A Pro badge shown across the site

Pro features and limits may change over time as the site evolves. We aim to keep Pro aligned with its purpose: helping collectors manage and showcase their collections more effectively.

2. Subscription plans & pricing

We currently offer the following Pro plans:

  • Monthly – billed monthly, cancel anytime
  • Yearly – billed annually at a discounted rate

Prices are shown clearly at checkout and may be displayed in USD or your local currency. Taxes may apply depending on your location.

3. Payments & billing

All payments are processed securely via our payment provider: Stripe.

  • We do not store payment card details
  • Your subscription begins as soon as payment is successful
  • Unless you cancel before the end of your current billing period, your subscription will renew automatically.

4. Cancellation

You can cancel your Pro subscription at any time from your account settings.

  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period
  • You will continue to have Pro access until that period ends

5. Refunds

We don’t generally offer refunds, but if you’re genuinely unhappy with your Pro subscription, please get in touch and we’ll do our best to help — including issuing a refund where appropriate.

6. What happens if Pro ends

If your Pro subscription ends due to cancellation or failed payment:

  • Your account will return to the Free plan
  • Any data exceeding Free plan limits (such as notes, photos, or lists) may become read-only or hidden
  • Your data is not deleted automatically

If you later re-subscribe to Pro, access to this data may be restored.

7. Acceptable use

Pro must be used in line with our Terms of Service.

You must not:

  • Upload content you do not have the right to use
  • Attempt to bypass Pro limits or payment systems
  • Use Pro features in a way that harms the service or other users

We may suspend or terminate Pro access if these Terms are violated.

8. Service availability

Pro features are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

While we aim for reliable access, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service due to maintenance, updates, or technical issues.

9. Changes to Pro or these Terms

We may update Pro features, pricing, or these Terms from time to time.

  • Changes will not apply retroactively
  • If changes are significant, we will provide reasonable notice
  • Continued use of Pro after changes means you accept the updated Terms

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of United Kingdom, unless otherwise required by applicable local law.
